Biography

Graduated in industrial design at Strate, Design School in 2000 :
2000: Freelancer designer : Product design, packaging, fitting out shops and stands. Paris. (Joaillerie Chodhari, Chrystiane Charles, Philippe Parent Studio).
2001 : Designer: Agence Sylvie de France, specializing in cosmetics bottles. Paris. (Chantal Thomass, Castelbajac, Lolita Lempicka, Yves Rocher, Guerlin).
2002-2005 : Prototyper, model-maker : Salomon-Adidas, sports equipment.
2006-2007 : Teacher at the Ecole Supérieure d’Infographie Aries in Annecy. Taught design, drawing and the history of art.
2007-2009 : Design instructor at the Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers of Bamako (CAMM). Cultural consultant for the French Embassy and worked in close collaboration with local designers to promote their products. Over a period of months, in contact with new partners, Sébastien’s methods of work and his creative approach evolved. Creation of his first collection of jewellery.

Today :

On his return to France, Sébastien founded his drawing workshop to prepare pupils for the entrance exams to the prestigious schools of applied arts : He teaches the fundamental artistic techniques and helps the pupils to implement their professional projects (initiating them into the realities and challenges of the job, professional requirements and interactions with other professions)

Making use of his adaptability, agility and technical and cultural background, Sébastien has become the graphic facilitator and innovation coach for many well-known companies : L’Oréal, IMD of Lausanne, Nestlé, Somfy, Véolia, AXA … He also intervenes regularly at Strate et d’Executive Education, teaching programmes in innovation and design thinking.
